In the early spring of 2022, Grace and Ryan crossed paths in the digital realm of modern romance.

Instantly captivated by Grace's profile, Ryan boldly messaged her, declaring, "I guess we're dating now." Intrigued and amused by his audacity, Grace agreed to a date.

Ryan was up to the challenge and planned a lovely first date two weeks after his initial message. Dinner at Blue Sushi proved to be a success, with conversations flowing effortlessly as Ryan and Grace bonded over their shared values of family, faith, and ambitions.

Dinner transitioned into dancing at Pla Mor. Whether it was Grace's super awesome dance moves or the video Ryan sent later that night showcasing his extensive book collection, their fates were sealed, and they both felt it.

The following weeks were filled with equally adorable dates: attending church together, enjoying brunch at the Green Gateau, having a picnic at Mahoney Park, and coffee dates at the Mill.

April 10th proved pivotal. Ryan invited Grace over and prepared a dinner they enjoyed after a competitive round of mini golf (Grace emerged victorious by a single point).

As the evening drew to a close, Grace bluntly asked, "So... when are we making this official? Today or next time?" Sensing the perfect opportunity, Ryan decided it was time to take the next step.

Each moment they spent together surpassed the previous one, and from the very beginning, they knew it was the start of their forever.

Just over three months into their relationship, Ryan and Grace went on a picnic, a favorite activity of theirs. Suddenly, Ryan turned serious and produced a small box from his pocket, much to Grace's surprise. He then professed his love for Grace, promising a lifetime of devotion. As a symbol of commitment, he slipped a promise ring onto her finger, foreshadowing a proposal he would make nearly a year later.

The days flurried by, summer turning into fall, and fall turning into winter. By spring, both Ryan and Grace agreed that the coming summer was the right time to make good on forever.

They planned a summer trip worthy to hold the memory of a lifetime. They agreed the proposal would take place on the trip, but Ryan kept the exact moment a secret.

All summer long they looked forward to the trip with great anticipation. Finally, the day arrived. On the Fourth of July, they boarded their plane and were off to Daytona, Florida. The journey was smooth, and they headed to their hotel.

After settling in, they both freshened up to head to the boardwalk to watch fireworks. Grace sensed an energy of premonition in the air. Her suspicions were confirmed when Ryan announced that he needed to shave before they left, something Grace always nagged him to do. This confirmation gave her a shock of excitement and anticipation.

They finally made it to the Daytona Boardwalk and Pier. The entire night was fantastic, filled with walks on the beach, and romantic conversations. Grace felt that every time she lost sight of Ryan she would turn around to find him on one knee. Eventually, the sun started to dim, and so did Grace's hope.

Giving up on the idea that tonight was the night, she cheered up with the anticipation of the fireworks. She and Ryan found an amazing spot right on the boardwalk. Ryan seemed pretty relaxed all night, but peculiarly seemed to get nervous once the fireworks started. Grace was curious why, but soon got swept up in the stunning firework show.

Her absorption with the show was broken when Ryan took her by the hand to the middle of the boardwalk. Seconds seemed like hours as they stared in each other's eyes, seeing the promises of a lifetime.

The proposal was a blur for both, but the question asked and the answer given will never be forgotten.

"Grace Ashley Reiman, will you marry me?"
